I searched a bit but didn't quite find what I was looking for although I didn't go through all the results. I'm trying to decided if I should upgrade my springs. I thought I had 600 but have 1400 300 650s springs for my ads coilovers. I'm about to add a sso slimline, winch, and at least the ifs mobtown skid. at 600 I wouldn't have questioned the 700lb spring. is it worth it to upgrade ($100 a piece) if I have 650lb springs?

Depends on how much preload you will have, how much lift your running and how rough the ride is. I have fox 2.5 that came with 13 inch 600lbs, and I'm going to be putting in 14 inch 650 eibachs. At your weight the 700s wouldn't be out of the question, but I'd say run it as is and see where your at before getting new springs.

thanks. I'm at about at 2.5ish, maybe less lift. ride is fine and id have to measure my preload. I was actually thinking if I upgraded the springs I was going to get the small spacers from @HeadStrong Off-Road to keep my preload as low as possible.

How is that? I assume they don't even touch the springs?

But they move the whole spring assembly down from the top, adding preload

Negative. If the spacer sits on the top plate it will not effect preload of spring. You may net to check to see if your bump stops still contact at the right time.

Have you tried to contact ADS and ask them about their product? Chances are you will get better info from the folks that produce your coilovers.

    Only the best.
If you have 650s now i think ud be okay with what your doing. Wouldnt take to much extra preload to bring you back up to you're at now
