Taking the trash down to the curb should be a breeze.

    I hear you there.

If you got a center stand, this thing rocks:
    http://www.legalspeeding.com/Park-n-Move.htm#.WeYk9mhSxhE

If you don't, Harbor Freight has you covered: I've had the Park-n-Move for many years now. Just freaking stellar.

A friend has a crazier driveway than yours (only 25ft long, but way steeper) and has the HF dolly. He really likes it.

We have the opposite where I live. The steep slopes start on the high side at the road and lead down hill to the garages . Problems are backing out and not being able to see traffic in the road , and not stopping on the way down to the garage . Most have to park on the side of the street also , or stay home till it melts.

I've had the truck five days. Damn right I'm going to ask before attempting it myself.

I was going to buy it regardless of whether or not I could back it up my driveway. If I can't, so be it. If I can, without damaging the truck, even better. Thought I'd toss it out to the...ahem...experts first.

LOL. The only think mechanically I'd watch for is taking it easy on the throttle and try to keep the wheels straight.

Going backwards in 4WD transfers the truck's weight on the front end and it wasn't really designed for that. Going crazy while doing stuff like that is how you break CV axles and diffs. However, at one time the front ends of Toyotas were actually the same 3rd members as the back, for example in the 79-85 solid axle trucks, and going backwards was actually using the front diff in its stronger orientation.

I wouldn't be worried enough not to try but just throwing it out there, easy does it. Watch for slipping and wheel hop.

Of course the truck will back right up that. I'm not really seeing the problem here. I mean, except for a nice house like that with only a single garage? WTF were you thinking? I'd just move.

Sorry for the post . I sometimes cannot help from letting some of the smartass in me out. I did have to think of some of the same things with my down hill into the house driveway with visions of slowly sliding right into the garage side or my wifes car.

Should have seen the mover's faces when they realized they couldn't get their truck up the driveway. :D

Honestly a winch isn't a bad idea. Just attach a hook to your garage floor and pull yourself up with some help from reversing. It would take an extra couple minutes but a hitch mount winch would work great from HF for that.
