    Hey everyone,

I picked up this 06 Tacoma
a week ago. AB363934-D489-41FE-AFE4-255855583DB8.jpg 8A498F60-60D7-4339-81C9-508A9DE32DF7.jpg This truck used to be a plow truck at my work, they sold it to me thinking it had a hole in the block. Truck runs just fine, no odd noises at all. Just looses most of the oil in 5-10 minutes of running haha. Come to find out it’s the upper oil pan. CC4E1B30-726D-41EE-93C1-68832B2BD857.jpg Me and my buddy believe that the top bolt of the front diff kissed the pan and put a nice little hole in there. I already ordered the part, as I do not want to pay Toyota to do this repair. I have access to a shop with lift/tools etc so that shouldn’t be an issue. I just want to know what goes into doing this repair, looks like would need to drop the front diff and steering rack. But I’m not sure. If anyone has done this before, any insight would be great! Thanks!

Ya I really wish I knew what he did. But thanks for that link, maybe if I remember I’ll make a post on doing the repair.
