Yeah, but that is only 20 years, not 25 years.

 

The first one was a pain in the arse for me, too. After that I made sure to snip the ends off real good and clean with a good sharp set of cutters, and even then I stayed away from the paracord when I was pushing the wires through. The ends of the wires want to snag on the paracord, and make it a pain to fish through the crimps.

 

Not being impatient, truly, but does anyone know the estimated time between ordering and shipping?

also how could I get my hands on a few upTop stickers and patches?

 

The website says 21 days, I think mine shipped in 27? Honestly, with everything going on, I was thrilled it shipped that close to the time frame.

 

I ordered mine April 20th around 3pm central time and it was shipped May 28th.

I’ll keep you posted....full time job and wifey duties keeps me limited. I’ll post more when it’s done. But @upTOPoverland has been amazing at helping me out with this project. So far it’s bad ass

 

confirmed with softtopper 2005+ probably will work with besttop but we havent had a truck to try

I see you have the middle bar on, are you keeping the Softopper up?

 

Yeah keeping the topper on. I never really take it down to be honest. Here are some pics today. I haven’t put on the Waterport or Rotopax yet. Everything is solid on this. If you are going to purchase one remember do not tighten it all down until the end.


There is a slight difference on a bracket that needs adjusting. The guys at Uptop are solid and have been keeping comms with me on correcting it. It’s solid.

 

Can the rack be adjusted to sit closer to the soft topper?

 

yea it can. There are arms that go up and down. I put it on the second setting to be even with my prinsu up front.

 

Do you have an estimated height difference you can get the rack to sit close to the topper? As in, could it sit an inch or lower above the topper?

 

This looks like it would be able to sit around a tonneau cover. Possibly even the Diamondback. Obviously won't allow it to open, but still might fit.
