Nah I got a buddy who owns a shop near me to do it. If I didn’t know him, I’d end up doing it myself but having to remove the shark fin and third break light would have been a pain

Looks great! Shark fin and break light are my concern as well but will give it a try.

Make sure to seal the 3rd break light with probably silicone because it can leak

Looking for some help from anyone who did the eX rack install to camper shell tracks. I have these large brackets and instructions say to attach them to the load bars using tnuts and four-hole squares but I did not get those parts. Instead I got two-hole pieces and no tnuts. How did you attach the large brackets to the load bars? I reached out to @upTOPoverland and they said I had everything I needed. See pics for details.

    Brackets

    Hardware bags

Maybe I was using the wrong terms. I think you are explaining how to attach the foot to the tracks on my camper shell. How do I attach the foot to the rack?

In the feet to load bar bag. flip the rack upside down to make this easier.

the black plates with 2 tapped holes in them. place them on the BOTTOM side of the bar 2 per slot. Push on on the left slot and one in the right slot to the other side of the rack. square up the two brackets to make a 2x2 square.

the silver spacers, place them on the bar in a 2x2 square over the 4 holes for the threaded plates.

the black feet, place them over the silver spacers running lengthwise down the rack.

fasten with flat head 1/4" SS bolts

Thanks. I will try that. Did I pull up the wrong instructions from your website? This is what they say:

Thanks. I appreciate the quick replies. I apologize for all the questions, but for safety reasons I want to make sure I follow the instructions. Don’t want the rack to fly off the roof and hit another car.

I like how it looks with the black vinyl on the roof. Like your wheels too!

Thanks man! I was debating the vinyl but in the end it was so worth it.
