Couple of questions for you, as I am about to embark on a similar install...

    1) Where did you run the wiring for your scenePOD lights?
    2) What gauge wire did you run from the rock lights?
    3) Did you combine the wiring for two lights (on each side) before running to the interior of the truck or did you just extend all the wires as is and run them all inside?
    4) Where did you ground the negative wire(s)?

I will probably use a single switch for all 4 lights.
I want to run a single (12 gauge?) positive wire from the aux fuse block relay in my engine bay to the lights, then wire the 4 positive wires from each light to the single wire - just trying to determine the best place to make the junction.
Also, wondering if anyone has used the roof rack OEM bolt/holes for the ground? Seems like it would work and would be the shortest wire path to ground?

    Thanks in advance!

    1. In the gap between the AAP and Martin rack (where you install the spacers), then down the driver side A pillar to the engine bay

    2. I used home security cable that was only 22ga. We did the math and its enough for the BD rock rock lights.

    3. Yes, each side is on its own independent relay. Each side has positive and negative combined so I only have a single positive and negative lead coming into the engine bay. I have a aux fuse block so I use power and ground from that.

    4. To my aux fuse block under the hood. I also used waterproof relays on each harness to keep the load off the switches in the cab.

Think I found my culprit here - more slop from the A&A Toppers install... The roof rack drip moulding by the windshield on the passenger side is loose.

Do you find the 1250 awning sufficient enough?

For 2 people yes maybe 3, kinda got cramped with 4 people under it. I’ve only tested once so far with 4 people sitting under the awning during a little shower.

I’m in the market for a roof rack, but I’m undecided on what rack to get. With all respect in the world, what puts this one about prinsu and Cali Raised? They all seem to be the same price as the bravo.....

    @sorevilo
You can get the Bravo on by yourself if you're very careful. I rigged mine up with bumpers to make sure I didn't ding anything.

@upTOPoverland it looks like the design changed on the Chop-N-Dig mounts. Any pics of them attached with the Quick Fists and tools?

I got my rack right before the Rona hit, and when nobody wanted to be around anybody else, and I was working COVID response (still am) so nobody wanted to be around me specifically. I wasn't going to wait around to get the rack on there, so I came up with this. Worked just fine, no problems on the install.

LOL, these will never happen to be 100% clear. Micah built these by hand our of fiberglass before upTOP was a thing.

Ya honestly I thought I was getting their original mount for Chop n Dig that was pictured on their site when I placed my orders. I was surprised when I just received 2 flat plates and the Brackets. You honestly don't even need those plates lol. I guess you need them for mounting on the ROOF RACK or in the load bars for the bed Rack. I didn't even need the plates on the bed rack sides so I just used those Rubber QuickFist mounts directly to the bed rack.
