I feel like a picture of someone hitting golf balls off the turf on top of their truck would be excellent marketing material. Probably some sort of line about how the racks are stable enough for "long drives". Now I want to buy a rack and make this happen.

    Just miles
I just got my Bravo roof rack installed, but it’s making a whistling noise. I’ve tried tightening bolts in case they were too loose but with no luck. Currently trying different load bar positions to see if that helps.

has anyone found any trouble spots or solutions to start with? I have the plain no light bar cutout fairing. Thank you!

Dude that's an awesome idea hahaha. I could totally picture standing on the rack, overlooking a canyon or something and swinging some golf balls :woot:

    Never Enough
So I finally joined the UpTop family. I was going to order one in January but figured I would wait until after the holiday$$$ and I knew I was going to owe taxes this year on a 401k rollover so I decided to wait. Funny if I would have ordered in January I probably would have ended up getting about the same time as now. Either way the wait was worth it. I picked mine up local from a guy that sold his 2018 Tacoma. I had to drive about an hour in a sleet storm to get it. Today I installed it by myself which was awkward but bungges got it done. It took me about 2.5 hours. The hardest part was getting the bolts through the rack, spacer, and finding the threads in the roof to start. I tried several tricks but damn it was a PIA.
Not sure if I am a fan of the handles yet I will see if they grow on me and I use them. I kept just grabbing the top of the rack to get up, I had to remind myself I had handles.
Bonus he gave me the punch as well. That made it very easy.

The only complaint I have about the rack is the washers for the bolts that mount the feet to the roof are a bit small. they kept falling into the foot groove sideways and they do not cover a lot of the surface area on the foot (see Pic). I think they should be a bit bigger just so they cover the foot more. If I ever have to unscrew those bolts I will replace the washers with larger ones.

Other than that I am very happy with it and am excited to get my TREDS, Shovel, & Gas out of the bed of the truck. An awning will be the big addition to it.

@upTOPoverland I plan to buy a Bravo rack with BD S8 10" (Dual) fairing cutout. Do you have the wiring instruction for this type of light? If I am not mistaken, I have to install a wiring kit to combine the 2 lights into one wiring harness to connect to the battery and the on/off switch? I want to know what are the components needed to install and how much is the overall cost to have this option. Thanks.

A simple google search shows you can purchase a harness splitter to wire 2 BD S8 together for about $12. You are not mistaken, you do have to connect to a battery and also have an on/off switch. Typically included in lights when you buy them. They will wire up like any light... Try looking at BD website since that’s the company who makes the lights you are looking at....
