    Yup. Most of the work I found was dropping headliner and getting everything wired up inside the truck. I just didn’t feel like doing anymore once I got the interior all put back together. I also took the time to put a fresh coat of ceramic coating on roof before it gets covered for good.

    How much work is dropping it, and did you drop it completely? I kinda want to drop it and add sound deadening on it

    I dropped it from the middle pillars back. I am not sure what’s entailed with working around the crawl controls but it’s not too bad to do what I did. I would get some interior panel buttons in advance if you decide to do it. No matter how careful I am a couple always get broken

    It’s not bad. Just take your time and be careful not to break any of the fasteners. I dropped mine half way and added sound deadening. Than did the front the following weekend. I felt the interior was the longest part between tearing it out and putting it back in. But I took the time to run the harness with the other wires leading to the engine compartment.

    As I see a few posts here about folks snapping fasteners, does anyone have the part number/info for these so we can preemptively order a few to have on hand during our install, just in case?

    Dropping it entirely is not much more work than just dropping the back half i have dropped mine to install dynamat and the difference in noise is insane.

    I hate removing the trim between the front and back doors. That’s why I said screw it. I’ll do half now and the other half later. Definitely cuts down the noise.

    Actually really glad to read this as well, as I plan to do the roof with FatMat hood liner (recommended by quite a number of people I'm finding), the floor with FatMat floor liner, and the back wall with Noico.

    An update on this, it wasn't the tapping of the holes on cross bars. Powder coat got into some of the holes and this caused the screws to bind up and not go all the way in when tightened. In my case I was using a ratchet ...at least initially. I'm fine being the bad example, so yes, don't be me and use a drill to try and tighten your screws the rest of the way.
