You can set and forget but if you are a perfectionist like me you will go into the r4 and adjust the tune. Lol

You can use the same size. Do you have the dynamic tensioner ? I wanted to get a smaller belt to reduce slip but could t find one

No I have the old style bracket. It's what came with my SC. I bought it all second hand.

The wiring can be plug and play if you buy the harness adapter from URD. I decided to do all the wiring myself instead of buying the adapter and if I had it to do over I'd probably spring for it. The wiring isn't difficult but it's time consuming and you have to work in some confined spaces.

I seriously considered methanol injection but decided that it wouldn't work well for me since I take a lot of long trips in the truck. I would've either needed to carry my own supply of alcohol with me or plan the trip around places where I could refill.

If you only put larger injectors on and don't remap the injector timing, the engine will run rich at low RPMs. Not a killer but not ideal. URD also makes an older kit that replaces the stock injectors with larger ones (instead of the 7th in the blower) and it comes with the piggyback computer to compensate for the larger injectors. They don't sell it anymore since the 7th injector does everything you need cheaper and easier.

Injector timing has been remapped and has a piggyback set up and runs very well and smog legal , has been smogged a few times with no issues like an over rich condition

Nice, sounds like you've got it dialed in well.

If you got ~20% larger injectors and an o2 simulator you would be sitting pretty well. Larger injectors alone will only help open loop and without a piggy back you have no control over how much they actually "help." You'd have to figure how much extra fuel you'd need exactly and find injectors of the size.

This is why the 7th injector is recommended over larger injectors, less injectors to control. I can't recommend an o2 sim enough. Closed loop tuning is essential to get the most out of any performance mods, especially a supercharger.

Just to be clear the 7th kit has injector control and timing control and that's all. If you were feeling adventurous you could go with an AEM fic 6 which can do everything except timing advance and at only $400 is a pretty nice alternative. The only draw back is the complexity. I spent 2 hours installing the 7th kit and about 10 on the fic. The results aren't comparable though, the fic is superior.

Awesome point! With the s/c making boost much earlier than a turbo, closed loop tuning is much more significant and only possible with the O2 sim

I was looking into an older Urd 7th injection kit used but turns out my truck has and O2 and wide band sensor if that's the correct way to put. So the older kits do not work for trucks like mine. I did not know there was a difference.

My truck appears to have 2 cat converters it has a o2 sensor before the first converter and a sensor after the second converter. So is that wide or narrow band. I'm really getting frustrated. Lol

Not 100% sure. I do know that neither of them are wideband....I have the older style.

Another dumb question. I have found a few 4.56 font diff assemblies and rear 3rd members. I can literally get the front and rear for about 120@ and its Toyota factory stuff. Why doesn't people go this route instead of a re gear that runs about 2k for parts and labor?
