Get the billies and take out your resonator and secondary and maybe drop in a pro dry. Intakes don't do much on these trucks but suspension does.

Ya but the urd ones are made for street use only. Id get the billies. Youll enjoy them more. You feel no difference with a cai. Ive had 3 different ones and ive sold em all.

5100's... CAI in this truck is pointless. Its cold air from the factory. Toyota out a shit-ton of R&D into this intake and it really cant get too much better than stock. You will notice 0 improvement with the CAI. But with 5100's... :D

Damm, I was kinda leaning towards the URD CAI. I thought it made more sense to get this model because it sits in front if the radiator, but maybe not.

Do some more research, there are differing views on whether the URD "feels" any different in day-2-day driving or not. Dyno shows some gain in the mid-rpms but hard to figure if it is enough to make an actual difference or just a butt-dyno difference. Definitely "shows" a delta in the higher rpms though, but how often are you there?

I bet OP couldn't decide on which one to buy so he did like the rest of us and bought both

5100s. The intake will give you top end power but your truck is still a slow brick.

^ Agree ^ If I do anything to make the truck faster it'll be the SC. And if he's gonna lift and/or put bigger tires on, any butt dyno gains from a cai will be lost anyway. I just put my 5100s on 2 days ago and I love them.

    Hi Men,
Don't mean to hijack the thread, but wanted to see what I can do with my 2008 Standard Cab Taco 2WD, 4cyl.
I've put a lift on my 4Runner and Bilstein 5100's.
I haven't really fooled with the Taco yet.
I am about 10,000 miles from new tire too so I want to see what I should do.

    I would like a little lift. I did a 2" lft on the 4runner.
What tires look good on these rigs. I went Michelin LTX on the 4Runner
I just want the tires to look right with any lift. I do not off road.
Mine has the leaf springs in the back, so what is the best procedure for a 1.5" - 2" lift? I would like to keep a decent ride, but not too important. I do haul some building materials and tow a pop-up occasionally.
    What tire size looks good?
Bilstein 5100's a good choice here. What setting on the front?

    Kind regards,
    Doug

CAI is a complete, 100% waste of money. 5100's
