    Hey all,
    I have a 2005 4.0 6 speed manual a/c I have a trd supercharger a k&n intake jba short headers and magna flow exhaust.

Now my question is should I get the MAF calibrator from URD? If I do will it come pre tuned for these parts??
Any suggestions would help out I am really considering it and the price right now is 199.00

Yeah I have been reading alot about it and people really see performance, I just want someone that has it with the supercharger to give a heads up to how it performs and how they tuned it, I just dont want to waste the money if its not compatable

What kind of mods do you have with the MAF? and did you just use the stock map for the MAF?

So when they tune it you just tell them what intake you have and thats it? So the other things I have wont matter? Sorry for all the Q's just want to get as much info as possible.....

First you will notice some performance gains. But don't think its gonna add 50+HP, because it won't. Once you hit 3k RPM you will feel it work. Before I added mine the truck would lunge/hesitate and then acelerate. Now, it just goes and the difference is noticable. I feel the truck runs smoother and sounds better, almost like its been tuned professionally. I think that there are some pre-made maps for some different setups but call URD and ask. I have an AFE pro-dry with a wicked flow muffler on 2.25" piping and its the stock map. Im sure I could see more output if i were to get it tuned, i just dont have the time right now. All in all i would say get it, and since you have the supercharger you will prolly see more out it with the MAF calibrator

Can Gadget tune the MAF Calibrator to allow/require a higher octane fuel to be used or is that more of an ECU/piggyback function?

Im not 100% but I wouldn't think so. Either way call URD and ask, they're good with questions and customer service.

I am very interested to see what numbers you put down on a dyno. I have a 2010 with a TRD S/C and will be buying the urd MAF and smaller 2.8" pulley here soon.

    .
I have a 2007 dbl cab with a K&N series 63 CAI and three inch Ernie banks cat-back, my mileage went down with the CAI and I spoke with Gadget at URD and I ordered the Calibrator pre-mapped for my setup, installation took about an hour as I was hella nervous about fucking with my ECU. I triple-checked that all the location and colors of the wires I needed to solder were correct before i did anything, I then labled each harness (A-B-C..) with a marker so I knew they were going to back in the correct slots when i was done. I used heat-shrink to prevent shorts on the solder joints and looped the wires so the unit sits in the glove box. Not as much of a difference below 3k RPM but my mileage came back to near were it was before.
