You will love the short shifter, probably the best mod I have done!

 

I'm also curious about the MAF calibrator. Seen maps and posts where people have used them on the v6, but not much on the 2TR. Let us know how it goes.

 

Ya man post up some info on performance and whatnot about the maf: dynos work really well to prove, also maybe a air fuel ratio (I think those come along with dynos on the bottom of the print out)

 

urd maf calibrator and short shifter arrived! installed the short shifter today and the install went easy. I absolutely love the short shifter. the throws are so much shorter and crisper. im going to have the calibrator installed by a performance shop so they can dial in the numbers with their scanners and dynos.

 

Computers and dynos? Don't these get tuned my a comp with the software urd gives you?

 

the only thing you will need other than the calibrator is a wideband i believe to tune it to its maximum. i just want a performance shop to do it since i have a mac and they have widebands to dial my truck in. gadget told me if you put it on your truck without any tuning, i should notice a difference in my truck. i want a dyno to see my torque and hp output since i put headers, magnaflow exhaust, afe intake, and now the chip. i want to see the difference i have gained with all these modifications

 

oh yea....i called gadget and he preloaded a blank map for 2tr before it was sent out.

Also do you know yet what kind of tune your gonna do: high end or low end torque?

you also have a v6 which i think would hide more performance than the 4 banger has hiding
