went to a second dealership and they said the same thing, they do not even have a part number for that piece. You have to buy the entire shifter assembly for about $200

Try to find a dealer with online store as well, sometimes they have individuals of items.

That is a nice cleaner way off getting that bushing off. I wrapped mine in a shop towel and used a vise grip to pry it off slowly. I think his broke also due to being worn and brittle over time. Mine flexed and was oval when I took mine off and it reshaped itself sitting on table.

    I have a spare one, it's from a 6-speed though. Couldn't hurt to try.
PM me your address and I will get it in the mail tomorrow.

I missed that in the discussion. The part number I listed is for the 6 sp.

Anyone with a lathe could easily turn a new bushing in a matter of minutes. There is no way in hell that you have to buy a $200 shifter assembly to get it.

So a week later and I ordered the bushing from marlincrawler, only problem is they sent me the lever ball seat instead. I have tried calling them all day and have got no response from them. I sent some emails as well I hope they get back to me.

I also got the 6 speed bushing from Tinker_Troy it was too big so thats a no go. I really want to get this done.

yeah that is the same looking diagram the guy at the parts department showed me. It looks like the part pointed to in red is the one I need and it is not an individual piece. Unless it's one of the other pieces...
