I ordered this bumper a couple of months ago. Got a warn M8000s about a month ago. I finally had some time to get them both installed today. I like the look of the stock bumper so for me this was an ideal setup. Installation was pretty straight forward. I am please with how it turned out. I give this product two thumbs up. For those that don't know this replaces the stock aluminum bumper behind the cover.

Next are my SAWS and AAL. I will need to recover some height after this and the new fab fours rear bumper I will be getting delivered on Tuesday. Sorry the pics are out of order. Just showing a little before and after.

That's pretty bad ass! Who makes it? And if you don't mind me asking what did you pay for it? I love the sleek hidden look.

I believe the guy that is selling them is active on this board...it's USOFFROAD. He's selling them for Taco's and FJ's. The 2012+ winch mount was going for $499 when I got it a couple of months ago. I have a friend that lives close by his shop so he was able to pick it up for me and bring it down to Houston. That price was for bare steel. I had it powder coated locally. You can check it out on usoffroad.us.

Do a quick search, there is a pretty long thread that started a couple of years back when these were first coming out. I am extremely happy with it.

Thanks! I will definitely be looking into it. I'd have to wait till next year before I could pull the trigger on a wench and mount. I just forked over a bunch of $ on a complete King kit.
Great choice man I really really like the look of that!

Love the bumper. Easy design to build yourself too

Damn! My truck looks like a lowrider next to yours. I REALLY need to get my lift installed. But even after it won't be as tall as yours.

Got rid of the hook today...

It was higher until this setup. Mine weighs more then the one you have do to I used more 1/4" plate. I want to get rid of the roller fairlead and get one like that.

One thing I think us offroad should include is high lift points like I did when I built mine. Can see them right before the angle sides

What is your total setup weighing in at? With the mount and the winch using synthetic line I should be between 120 and 130lbs total.

I was wondering about that. I figure IF I ever have to use a hi lift in the front (hope I don't) I'll just use a shackle through one of the front shackle mounts. But like I said, I hope I don't ever find myself in that situation. I hated using that thing for anything with my old 1st gen. My feelings have not changed, lol.

I hear ya never had to yet but just in case I do. Total I don't know. I do know it was a mother putting it on the truck by myself. Some reason just the bumper itself I wanna say was a bit over 100 and I have a xrc 9.5 and steel cable

You have to be pushing close to 200Lbs total! Well it looks good man. If I had the skills and tools to make my own I'd do it, but since I do not I will continue to purchase things that other make! LOL.

I had to cut the stock recovery loop on the drivers side of the frame. Then I had to cut the plastic behind the lower valance area. I was nervous about the plastic. But it wasn't too bad.

How much additional space is taken up by the recovery points on the front. Can you measure it for me? I'm very cramped for room in my garage, so this seems like it would be the closest bumper for me that would *maybe* fit

Did you just cut it off at the front, or did you cut the welds and take the whole thing off and grind it smooth? Thanks!

Just cut it flush with the subframe. No need to cut it at the welds.
