I'm looking at your pic... where is the notch in the back of the mount? You can see where the freon was leaking. Should be a notch there from us..... what is your order number?

Wait.. you may have one of the early Gen 2.0 versions that didn't have the notch. They all have notches now. We didn't add the notch at the time because there was typically tons of clearance.. but we added it later to be on the safe side...and now we know why.

Zack; how are your body mounts, specifically the front/radiator support mounts? Curious if collapsing/sagging mounts were contributing to this.

...and now I have to go look at mine, I don't think it has that notch either. I recall there being ~1/2" clearance, but will check again anyway. LOL!

Checked those and all good. They added the notch for a reason, lol. I just happened to have a smaller clearance, coupled with my cupped tires and vibration, probably all i needed to work a hole into it. I needed to replace the solenoid on my winch anyway, so i had to drop the bumper anyway. Killed 2 birds with one stone, well 3 really, also needed to paint my homemade light bar mount that was rusting, lol.

Has anyone put a set of Baja Designs Squadrons down on the mounts next to the winch? I'm thinking about swapping out my Rigids just because.

Just make sure the housings are either 3" or less in height or you set them back far enough you can drop them down a bit on the mounting tab. We have a slot that will enable that.

Actually found some photos of a setup on your website in the 'Customer Images' - just above my trucks in fact - that has them. You're right, the BD's are just a touch over 3", so his are set back. I'm also considering fabricating myself an extension bar to allow mounting to sets of cubes side-by-side in there. I should have *just* enough room for it to work with the Engo winch. Thanks! :)
