Just got back from Usal Beach. Beautiful spot, and the road down from 101 is a relatively easy fire road but has some nice steep sections and off camber stuff to test your skills. The only downside was the camping. Wasn’t THAT crowded but some idiots were shooting fireworks off until 11pm and then the wind started whipping so we didn’t sleep. Probably should have just gone on a weekday, but alas, still a fun trip.

Usal beach has a special place in my heart. I love that campground. Being able to actually camp on the sand and wake up to the Tule elk roaming around with the sound crashing of the waves.

I wish it was like that for us… It was mostly people shooting off fireworks for hours and 30mph wind on the RTT. And no Elk to be seen :(. Still beautiful!
