Fabtech 6", xd addicts/35x11.50 Nitto Terra Grapplers, Black badges, Pioneer HU, 11' grille, ect ect ect....
The dealer had my 2010 TRD Off Road dcsb 6sp listed at 26,950.00 I liked the truck a lot but thought that was a bit much with 44K on the clock. They are an off road specialty place and made me a deal I couldn't refuse. I paid 24K OTD for it with a brand new Fabtech 6" lift and 18x9 XD addicts with 35x12.50 Nitto Terra Grapplers. I did trade in my 2011 STI and put 4K down on the truck.

I am sure others have done much better but all in all I am extremely satisfied with my purchase price!

    Bash42,

Yea I hope that turns out to be the case with my 2.7
Over the years I've watched friends and family members Toyota trucks really earn their keep. Add to ft their military service.... I've wanted a Tacoma for years.

Mods?? Can't say I have. Gotta learn to crawl before I can walk. I wouldn't know where to start. Conifers here sees like a good start tho.

All in all I feel I got a good deal and it was exactly the one I wanted. Region plays a big roll in these prices. 3 hours south of here I wouldn't have gotten the price I did

about a month ago I paid $16800 for an '05 TRD DC Sport, 88k

I thought it was a bit steep but it had all the mods that I wanted already done to it. HID halo lights, after market tail lights, pro comp extreme flat black wheels, dual exhaust and a lockable snuglid for the bed. Add to that the viper alarm with remote start and the pioneer x910bt stereo system... I'm a happy camper!

previous owner has only used mobil 1 synthetic, and never had any problems.I want to drive this truck for another 5 years at least, then Ill maybe look at getting a brand new one, or who knows, I could end up driving it for the next 10 years!

I bought new, but I know my dealer that I traded in to sold my 2011 DCSB TRD Off Road with 14,095mi for $29,900 (listed it for $31,500). It came with everything in my build page.

    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2nd-gen-builds/175177-aworthytaco.html

Actually saw the guy driving down the road a week later. Tried to talk to him, but he thought I was a weirdo and drove off. I'll see him around here eventually and give him warranties and such...

First of September I bought a 2011 DoubleCab TRD Sport with everything on it including an Undercover fiberglass tonneau cover painted to match with 31k miles for 24,800. I have a friend that has been looking for basically the same truck but not as picky on the year for less than 24k for the last 6 months and everyone of them either gets gone or is in a lot worse shape than the ad says when she goes to check them out.

Found the "one" after a casual 3 year search (convincing wife we "needed one") and a real 6 month search for the right price/condition. To find a Tacoma in good to great condition is rare. Most people that trade them in either haven't taken care of them due to lack of appreciation or have traded in for a newer model and they fly off the lot as most of you know. The "re-sale aura" that surrounds these trucks is something amazing.

After seeing literally 17 trucks and walking out of 4 negotiations on different used models, I finally found one hidden in the back of a Lexus dealership lot. It was immaculate and ran great (compared to those that I'd seen previously). The only hiccup was a cracked windshield.

Went down and negotiated twice, a week apart, and finally got her for $21,900. She was listed originally @ $26,269. No one saw or knew the potential and I'm pretty sure they frankly didn't know it was there as it wasn't listed initially on the website search functions. They listed one week before sending to auction and I made the trip down. They tried to low ball me on the my trade-in (paid off and immaculate 4door sedan). I walked out and a week later they called wanting to negotiate more. I went back in and told them that I was going to pay in cash outright and that this was my final offer. They agreed to the price I offered as long as I would take the trade in amount at a slightly higher than lowball price point. I declined and told them that they missed their opportunity on the trade in vehicle and were wasting my time. They regrouped and agreed to the selling price of $21,900 for a 2009 DCLB Trd Sport with Tow, JBL Sound, Bluetooth, Rear camera, etc. Also contingent was the windshield replacement. They agreed to replace at not cost to me as part of the deal.

And the best part of it all........I sold my 2008 Mercury Milan Premier Edition for $4,000 over the highest offer any dealer would give. ;) Sometimes private selling works out. Sorry for the long post but I really enjoyed the acquisition of my truck. I feel I got my dream truck and am totally 100% happy with the financial side of it. A "no regret" purchase is a great purchase in my book. She's paid off and all mine!

    Enjoy your Tacoma's folks!
