Hey guys, was wondering if someone could help me out with this. I have a 2015 Tacoma. I bought the Maestro ACC-SAT-T02 in hopes of getting my sirius xm receiver to receive signal through the shark antenna. I plugged the Maestro Satellite radio adapter cable into what I believe is the correct plug running to the shark fin, but I just receive a "Check Antenna" message on my radio. Are there some Tacoma models out there that the shark fin is just for show and isn't actually an antenna? This is the only thing I can think of other than I am using the wrong plug. Thanks in advance for any help. I attached a picture of the plug I believe is running to the shark fin.

I know it been a couple of years with my 2015 Tacoma. I no longer have. But back then my audio installer who I have been dealing with for years there was no cable to connect with the Tacoma XM. So he put the XM module on my dash because I did not want it outside on the roof. I had a signal no problem and it was not even noticeable. Hope this helps.

There are 2 ports on the back of the radio that can be reversed. The gps and sat radio antennas. Try plugging it into the other one instead

Ya unfortunately, I have my antenna on the dash and it loses signal just about every 5 seconds. Pretty much unusable, not sure if its just the area I am in (Denver, CO). It usually just depends on what time of the day it is and what direction I am driving if I get signal. Its pretty weak...I would rather not put an antenna on the roof, because there's just no pretty way to route it up there and if I can use the shark fin that's already there then that's ideal.

Thanks, I do not believe I have a GPS port, but I'll have to look again. This is an aftermarket Pioneer head unit.
