I found a set of AKKON headlights for sale on facebook marketplace for a deal that I could not refuse. The only issue is that they appear to be meant for the TRD and Limited models and I own an SR. Would anyone know what the best way would be to go about wiring these to my truck?

Here is an Amazon link for the original product: https://www.amazon.com/Sequential-Toyota-Limited-Projector-Headlights/dp/B075NRFD9R?ie=UTF8&th=1

Yes I do know that I could have just purchased a non-TRD set, but this deal seemed too good to pass up. Any help is appreciated.

I don't know if this helps you, but I read the reviews on Amazon and several guys who bought these and tried to install on SR5 said they didn't fit. I've not changed my headlights yet, so I can't personally speak about this issue. Nor do I know the mechanical abilities of those who left reviews. Also, several reviews spoke of poor light output. However, we all know about reviews. I hope you get this issue resolved and the lights turn out to work great for you.

Hey guys, thanks for all of the help, I really appreciate the info. As I do find my skills in wiring to be fairly experienced, this does unfortunately seem to be beyond my scope. I think I'll have to pass on this marketplace deal and find a set designed for my truck later. Once again, Thanks for the helpful responses!

Deal is too lousy to consider.

I make adapter harnesses, but they aren't cheap unfortunately. I'd save up and get some better performing headlights.

I have these in my 2020 Sr5 and they are great. Have had them 3 years no issues. I had the oem with the little amber driving light only.

I’m thinking of ordering these for my 2021 SR5. Are they 100% plug and play?

100% plug and play on my 2020 sr5 that had the amber daytime running light.
Still work great no flickering or any issues.

Just for clarity, the DRL are white and turn amber for the turn signal, correct?
