Its time to go under the knife for something new.

The Story:
This 4Runner been in the family most its life. Bought in early 2000s by my brother he owned it All its Silver life. He Lifted with some extended coils then added steel plate bumper/tire carrier. In about 06' he did the 01-04 Tacoma front end swap added the fender flares and paint job. There are build and Paint pictures somewhere, I need to find them. About right after that I bought it off him. From 06 till now shes been through alot and still more to come.

Rock Sliders added




Added Toyota and skit plate to the bumper. Painted the Grillie Black



Added Camberg UCA and sometime before this went from BF AllTerrains to KM2s



Made fuse plate and added a fuse box for the lights

Added lights to the bumper and added Bought some CBI Hood brackets for the Lights on the hood.









199840 Miles and she has a head gasket leak on the passanger side
I had to pull the motor to get to it. So since I had it out I dropped it off at a local machine shop for a Rebuild! She like brand new now!









My First try at tube Bumpers of course I made a few mistakes (Still in Progress)










My 2nd Try at Tube bumper. Still making mistakes. (Still in progress)

This is how she sits today. Getting ready for new paint in the next week or so.

oh well hello tacorunner.. Cool build and paint job!

 

Thanks man. Im getting it ready for the next paint job. Going to go white this time around.

 

Paints done, Got 2 days at work then will be back at it up put all the extra stuff back on. Also need to paint the bumpers and get them put on. After that its Sliders and Roof Rack.

Painted the lower area, put the rear bumper on, Put the grillie on, Added blinkers to the grillie. Put up the front bumper so I can drive it. Still need to work and fix the front bumper, but the rock guards back on, Add more to the Rock sliders, Paint the Wheels. Build the Roof rack.

For now, Got a few things to put on still. SAS is going to be right around the corner too.

Added some more to my sliders. Just little kick out Still might add another kick out on the end. To hot to figure that out right now.

 

Front bumper finished and hanging out to dry.

Installed the Bumper,Winch and lights. Fronts done. Sliders and roof rack next.

 

Blacked out the wheels today. With Restoleum Truck bed, same think I used on the bumpers and lower paint.

 

Super clean, the old paint job was cool but I'm a sucker for white. Keep on rockin'

 

Thanks man, I loved the old paint too, but over the 10 years the Mother nature took a beating on it(With my help). Clear was just about gone and most the places and where the clear was gone the paint had almost faded to the primer(Tan). Hell yeah man I'm all about the all black or white or black N White.
