Custom sliders, Bilstien 5100s in front - 5100's + AAL + TSB in rear, dif drop, LED's in scoop, CB installed in console, flashlight mount, window tint, locking compartment in bed.
If you go Billies, you will want to get the dif drop kit too. It will help the angle a bunch. The kits pretty cheep.

Do you recommend bolt-on or weld-on sliders? I've heard I should get them welded on.

My sliders are just bolt on and I have had to use them on a few rocks (that is why I refinished them) and they held up and helped out. I had special brackets welded to the frame and grade 8 bolts though, so they're on for good when they're on.

I have a question. I have seen may people post up on here (TW) saying I will need new UCA's with 3" and many say I would be fine. I have a 11' DCSB OR and bought the OME complete kit w/dakers and was gonna do 265/70R17 (2-2.5" lift). Or should I buy the kit to make it 3" and run 285/75R17s. Im fine with doing the cab mount chop and trimming, but will I need UCA's immediately or can I wait awhile?

no need for new ucas as long as your either a) get new wheels with the correct amount of offset, or b) get spacers. I have wheels with a 6mm offset and do just fine with my 285 duratracs

shouldn't have a need for the spacers, but no problem if you need help. Glad you got the Dakars because I was cussing at the AAL the whole time I put mine on.

That definitely is an aftermarket replacement bumper. Looks like an Armortech one but I'm not completely sure.

I decided against a diff drop. To many people on here recommend against it saying that it either doesn't do anything or hurts more then helps.

Weld on would be stronger but I don't see why bolt on wouldn't be strong enough for just some trail riding.

It's really personal preference. I like the extra insurance even if I have to back up and go around something every once in a while. My kickouts are different from Manlaans though. His stick out at a 90 degree angle while mine gradually come out. Mine will probably have a lesser chance of getting caught.

on second gens the diff drop sits higher and has more clearance then a first gen.... i would do it, it puts less stress on your OEM CV's, that are like 200 to 300 for some new ones, and your lucky if you get them used. I have a 6 inch and i clear everything up to mineral basin, witch is the toughest trail at AF canyon. I do hit the brackets but rarely.

It's an ongoing debate. I read this and decided against it:

reading the post and ya that sucks what happened to him, im against it aswell, but then again he only had a 3 inch lift with the drop bracket kit. When your only 3 inch more from stock and then do that, its not worth it at all. its different with the 6 inch lifts and the drop bracket, and more with the 2nd gens, it also depends on the brand you get, but heres a picture to see how they sit on a 2nd, i dont have that much clearance like he does, i maybe a little too low cause of the stock struts i have. 6 inch has there pros and cons but anything better for clearance is a SAS swap. but i think the best he can do for the money is a 3 inch and armor cause the body does come in contact with the rock a lot more.

2019- 265/70R17 on methods, GFC to be installed: Yukon 5.29, ARB oba, snorkel. (Lift tires armor TBD) 2011- Retired:OME lift, Light Racing UCA, Demello Front, Demello sliders, Brute force rear, TX pro wheels, 285/75s, snorkel, M8000, ARB OBA, Century shell, Relentless skids, Cobra 75
Been a productive week for me! Ended up buying a built 85 4Runner to take some some harder trails instead of cutting up my 2011 Tacoma. I also got some IPF lights, ARB compressor, Snorkel, and m8000 Winch installed on my Tacoma. Couple of crappy pictures I took with my phone this morning are attached for those interested.

Also, I'm on OME lift without diff drop and don't have bad CV angles. Keep the lift reasonable and forget about it dude.

Im thinking of buying the 10mm spacer from OME to get a full 3"s...How much do you guys normally get without the spacer? I have seen anywhere from 2-3", I got the 885s coming.
