    possible. very possble.

go on netflix and watch "Icarus". VERY cool documentary. At first you'll be like, "why am i watching this?" and then about halfway through you'll know why it's recommended.

As in laying on a shelf, same day purchase? Fiero Fluid Power or Haitek Automation in Sandy maybe. Or Fastenal.

I know they are all 80/20 distributors, but not sure on same day availability. We normally order truckloads at a time for work, so it gets pre-ordered.

Metal Remnants downtown is a pretty cool place if you’re looking for small quantities

Thanks that gives me a place to start.

Building out the back of my truck with some extrusion soon, and am likely going to order it online. But I just wanted to get my hands on a few lengths so I can plan and test some thing.

Maybe the dog trails at Lambert and the rockier ones like Ruin? I'm tempted to take a drive down there just to see.

I feel like a jabroni coming in here and asking random questions but y'all are a good resource.

I need to get some stronger brakes on my truck as I'm about to add about 400lbs of static weight, and Ive heard of folks doing a tundra brake swap on 1st gens. I'm going to get all the parts for it, and am trying to find a shop that would be competent and well priced. Anyone have any shops they'd recommend?

The tundra brakes bolt right up! midnight 4x4 downtown or Hinckley overlanding might be able to help you with it!

But it is super easy to do yourself and can save you some money, if you have some basic tools you can easily do it yourself, the tundra kit bolts up to the 1st gen taco's the only modification you need to is trim the dust shield, which can be done with some tin cutters, the only thing you need to is is make sure your wheels will clear the bigger calipers! plus you can get all the parts you need from any auto parts store. And here is a link that shows the process of how to do it and all the tools you will need!

LCE engineering sells a big brake kit and I considered that route but wanted the BIGGER tundra brakes and a didn't want drilled and slotted rotors.

I ended up getting the 13WL Calipers from Napa (they have a core charge).
    IMG_20220106_142657.jpg
I ordered the rotors, pads and shims online from McGeorge Toyota.

I also ordered a brake line kit from @turbodb

If you haven't already I'd suggest reading through his page

Probably not in my area but I'd be down to help you with the install in my garage :drunk:
