I went there once with my buddy and a large group of jeeps. There was snow and mud which made things a little more gnarly, but overall they got nice trails. I'd go back for sure!

Flag Pole was pretty nice. In Feb with the snow on the ground (and stock RuggedTrails too) made it a bit more challenging. Had two spots that were a little rough, but were able to make it up without problems.

I went to Flagpole last weekend. The main trail is pretty easy. A few steepish rock sections but still tame. The trail was long enough that I wheeled from about 10-5 the first day and 3 hrs the following morning wihtout hitting the side trails. On my way Out (sat morning) I saw a lot of Jeeps meeting up at some trail heads. It looks like there are a lot of unnamed trails there. It looks like all or rt 33 west of Harrisonburg has a lot of trails.
I know Dry River was a well known harder trail. I think its closed now because too many people started wheeling in the river.
    Kephart is another one.
I also heard the state line trail that follows the VA and WV border is pretty good. 20+ miles. each end is easier with the middle being tougher.

Maybe some time we should do a Flagpole, Dictum, Rocky Run, State Line trail, etc. weekend.

Do this fall when it cools off a little like October.

Flagpole is alright, its stock friendly so anyone can go. There are a lot of side trails in the area so you can spend some time riding. I think the trails that were closed were the harder ones like dry river.
There a few other trails of from Rt 33 before you get to flagpole.
I saw a lot of jeeps at the trail heads.
Along the Va and WV border is the county line trail that is almost 20 mile long.
