Putting a third dose in. Evap fins look a lot better. Still debating doing a light flush with the hose.

I've done a mod or two
That thing you pulled out is the blower motor resistor, it gives you all your other speeds except for off and full speed.

I decided to do a very light rinse of everything with a water hose to remove the soap and loose dirt. I'll blow out with the small hose attachment and let it dry overnight.

Unfortunately no gold came out :( that would have made this more worthwhile. At least I know my evap is free and clear of mold and mildew for another few years.

Well the noise didn't go away. I guess I'll order a new blower. When I was cleaning it with compressed air it seems to have some play in the shaft and was a little wobbly.

New blower didn't fix it either. I have no freaking clue what this damn noise is.

Sounds like we have the same issue!!
After doing the cleaning the evap housing, the “fluttering” sound was still there. Like yourself I replaced the blower, and no change. I though for sure it was a leaf or pine needle hitting the fan when I first started hearing it.
The sound is there no matter if the AC is on or off. Also doesn’t matter if it’s in recirculate or fresh mode.
    Frustrating for sure.

Did you see my video in the other thread? Does it sound like that?

I guess it's good it wasn't the blower, saved $70 taking it back. It was a noisy little bastard.

Found this thread cause I asked it in the AC thread. I'd be so surprised if its dirty in there though, I just rebuilt it all last year.
