Valentine One Radar Detector Mount

Anyone have a valentine one radar detector and have a solid mounting solution? My suction cups suck and it falls and damages my interior. I also have installed the ImMrYo Mirror lift. Don't know if I should go the route of mounting to the rear view mirror stem or a permanent mount to the window...

 

Just do the mirror stem mount, that is what I did with my beltronics and always worked well, just run the wiring and hide it all and looks very nice and professional. Also helps to hide it better so other people don't see it sitting up there.

 

I have this companies mount for my Ultragauge. They make nice stuff.

Nice but overpriced. Check my sig line for a link to a thread I did for a cheap (free for some) mount specifically for radar detectors in our truck. Super simple and the price can't be beat! If you find it helpful bump it by posting in it so others who may find it useful will see it.

I just 3m taped the suction cups to the windscreen, DONE...

 

How are you using it with your ultra gauge ? I just got one and I'm looking into mounting it on my rear view but there isn't many options . Could you post some pics of your setup ?

RAM mounts have a ball mouth that would work. Even in one of their "flat magnet mount" they use the V1 as the example.

 

Finally painted these. Just need to make the last bracket and bend it. Then it's all done.
