Hey DJ, Looks nice. If you havent done it already, you may want to either turn your links over so the zerk fittings are pointed up and out of harms way or you can take them out and put little allen screws in there like the ones that hold the spanner nut in place. I've seen those get ripped off from rocks and it can be a pain getting them back in.

I'll make sure I do. Those are Trailer products fenders, picked up on way to Koh. Was Ray actually running 300/300 coil springs? I had to grab some 150's for the top, was way too high. The coil towers come a little into engine bay, looks very similar to Rays. It would be nice for it to sit just a little bit lower in the front but think that's about as low as she will be, I'll get a exact measure but believe only 4-5" up travel or so

Keep in mind that up travel in a solid axle configuration for a rock crawler is not measured the same as it would be say a trophy truck that is jumping.

I have about 3" showing on the shaft of my front coilovers but can do this. Articulation is what your after.

Yup 4" up it still sits too high, I'm going to try 150/250. I have no preload on the coils either at 150/300 right now. So was Rays actually running 300/300 that you sent me @awsumdc ? I dint know how coils that stiff would work? Sat 2-3" higher then the 150's. So I had to buy 2 pairs of new coils

Yes, Ray was running them 300/300 and still is with the kings. I've been running 300/300 since I built mine. Ray ran those very shocks just as they were when they were sent to you.

I lowered my ride hieght down some by putting in shorter top springs and a tender spring. But I'm also sitting on the top of my "C" instead of on the axle tube.

How does this corner on the street? A lot more sway than an ifs taco without the sway bar?

Nice work man! Those 1 tons are badass! Do you happen to know the axle width (wms-wms) for the front and rear?

    ^^ this

It actually corners very well on the street, I'm probably bringing the spring rate down a bit might be a little softer but still pretty good for a 3link. It drives sooo smooth on the hwy, holds at 70mph at 2100 rpm, quite, smooth and steering is straight as a arrow, hydro ram works perfect. It's kinda different tho when cornering cause wheel dosent really return to center even with good caster.

I'm in love with this truck.

Ill post some pics when I get them but had a good break in run this weekend. I tried to find the weak spots but this thing is a tank, only way I could get it stuck was slipping off a massive rock I didn't see and landing on the tranny pan between the front axle tube, lower link and driveshaft, the one spot I can get hung up on lol, but nothing a hilift and some rock stacking couldn't fix

Also broke my 4th mirror, bc trails are tight lol I may need to figure out a quick disconnect cause folding in doesnt seam to help, or just bring spare mirrors lol. Few other little things I broke and will beef up

    Teaser video of the trail

Buy Jason's and hurry up and get the bumpers on lol. I probably wouldn't need a winch but just in case

Also I just found I blew up the outer wheel bearing on the 14 bolt and it right fucked the spindle, back to hover truck mode for couple weeks. I need to cut it off and weld in a new ruff stuff spindle
