Saw this pop up as "now available!"
Velocity stack for the 3.4L V6.
I have used this kind of bs mod on my racebikes (velocity stacks / venturi system) with limited gains, but the 2GR is not exactly a performance built engine that likes being push/pulled.

They claim +18tq / +8hp and peak torque @1000RPM less.

Its an intake stack that adds more volume and changes vaccuum pressure on the intake side, sometimes these stacks are designed to create a stronger venturi (or cyclone, ala vornado).

I am skeptical. My first thought is that this is gonna cause the ecu to pull time, and i cant see how this works well without a custom map at least.

This part is simply lengthening the intake runners. Longer runners do tend to build more torque down low... who knows, maybe they hit a sweet spot, or maybe not. It will be interesting to see as a few hit the streets and hopefully dynos.

The 2GR-FKS has tons of potential, don't sell it short.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
It was brought up in the KD-Max tuning thread. Some dyno pulls have been done but so far, no updates as to gains or tuning possibilities. It looks interesting. Will it pan out? Waiting...
