    Glad to hear I am not the only one that has a CEL with the dump tubes. I did not have a CEL with my catless tubes and catless URD Y pipe on 04B13 91 FOB,91 BFO test file or the initial "catless" 91 2.0 test file. The 2.0 final 91 super FOB tune for the dump tubes gives me a CEL...Still waiting on Mat to resolve this from a ticket I put in months ago...

    2.0 versions that have been released haven't been half assed. It's been released to a population of autos that are impossible to please.
    I'm not upset. I just want this thread to remain as clean as possible for folks to share info with another.

    Regarding the CEL, it will all be fixed through Vf Tuner.

    So I did exactly what @Boxerocks did to his throttle. I absolutely love it. So far there is definitely less rev hang, easier to roll into 2nd between ~1,000RPM and ~2,200RPM without making the truck buck or surge. I don't know for certain but it really seems like there less weird stuff on deceleration too but that could just be in my head. I only have about 35 miles on it since adjusting the accelerator. For me it makes it so I don't have to think about getting the throttle just right or clutch, it just seems more natural or more how a stick shift truck should drive. Today I thought NOW I'm glad and not second guessing myself for getting a 6MT.

    Thanks again @Boxerocks for jumping on that and @OVTune for making it possible.

    Do it! Took about 10 minutes Ctrl+V into each cell. For some reason when I read my ECU on vftuner I still got wrong ECU selected, but I risked it and selected my edited tune and flashed it no problem.

    Definitely recommend it though and looking forward to more feedback from other people.

    Thankfully, we will have the unaltered files to go back to.

    I am sure I am just missing where this information is but can someone let me know where to look so I can get definitions on what each of the flash tunes (I have VF Tuner but will flash a non-editable tune for now thats been sent to me) naming conventions is?

    Example:

    Tune name = 04A61_Reg_Stock_Thx.p5f

    04A61 = ECU ID
    Reg = 87 octane
    Stock = tire size
    Thx = ??? I would like to know

    Also I see gearing tune options in my available tunes such as - 04A61_Reg_Stock_4.88.p5f

    So in general is there somewhere that has a data dictionary of naming conventions for these tunes?

    Thank you all in advance for the assist.

    Reg is the starting octane. All tunes are Octane Learning.

    So THX in the tune names lets us know that the Throttle has a certain amount of expo added which changes the throttle curve, hence the throttle curve is no longer stock.

    The OVT throttle curves are not stock to start with. THX adds a bit more in some areas, but not at tip in.

    The best thing to do is try both versions to see what suits you. Give it at least 500mi unless something really odd is happening.

    Now that I understand what THX is for that makes it an easier choice. I do think there needs to be a glossary on the naming conventions for the tune files so we can make a proper selection. With that said I am grateful there is a good group of people here willing to share their insight and for that I thank you and all the others that contribute.

    You're welcome!

    There is some of this on the OVT website. The News section is back, so you can look through the old posts.

    How are y'all able to edit throttle? I plugged in my truck today and pulled up vf tuner but i can't edit anything. Not sure if i missed a step but I sent all info to ovtune and the only reply i got was from Rafael and a link to download 2.0 final.

    Truck stuff
    Manual's have editable tune packs. Auto's are still being worked on for release of the editable tune packs.

    *Edit: There are stock tunes that are editable for autos that do not contain any changes from OVtune.
    *Edit #2 or 3 or I lost track: I dont know what I'm talking about take anything a say about manuals with a grain of salt I have an auto not a manual and have been informed some manuals have editable tune packs not all. I should probably just delete my post and hide in a corner. Hope some have a laugh at me for this post.

    The AT can be edited, but only the stock file as of now.
