I guess I'm getting mixed info, Matt said yesterday that its already possible. I believe whats coming out tomorrow is limits for 1st gear/4hi/4lo not for the gears I'm trying to unlock which sounds like is already possible.

    Interesting.

I need to do some monitoring. Unfortunately, my favorite app (Torque) is not happy with Android 11 and the Dev is out to lunch.

I will attempt with the vF logger. I have used it before but need to get familiar again.

In 6th at 1700 rpm the motor can only take in so much air. It may only be opening that much because there is no difference in the amount of air coming into the engine whether it's 27% or 100%

If you were turning 3 or 4k rpm then it would probably open more, but then what speed would you be traveling?

Edit: i understand that you want to remove all limits so it's more like cars of yesterday, i do as well

sounds like you need to modify your airload control, airload expected tables

    Mat @OVTune , quick question..

Other than removing throttle limits, can you give us the Cole's notes on what exactly we're messing with in these four airload tables?

Some of us have been doing a little more than smoothing 800-2k like you showed us lol..

AND, with the new throttle limit tables you mentioned, will modding the air load tables even be necessary?

Version 1.2.1.1 is what I had. Maybe I'm an idiot, but I couldn't find the "about" to click and update. So I uninstalled and reinstalled and now, when I try to open it, it reads something like the process can't access the file because its being used by another process. WTH!! Is it too early in the morning?

I haven't released the update yet, and that error comes from trying to run the program too many times before the first instance loads

Currently having 1.2.1, we just go to OVTuned.com and click the download button once the description changes to 1.2.5 and carry on our marry ways? Will the old version just be overwritten? Should we uninstall the 1.2.1 before installing 1.2.5? I'm new to your software so I've never updated before. Please advise best method.

When the new version releases, it will say that version "CURRENT VERSION: xxxxx"
and then it will also show the version in the "about" in vF Tuner
just download, and install. It will install over the previous installation.

Usually you can just overwrite the old version, a time or two he has said to uninstall and reinstall.

I'm with ya I think the limits are there for a reason. But after seeing how much Toyota neutered our trucks I'd rather just see what happens when I unlock it. 2500 RPM in 6th would mean im doing about roughly 100 with stock gears :burnrubber:

And I also modified 'airload control' - control airflow and 'airload control - expected airflow' but i guess not to the extent I should have? Cant seem to find a table that replicates throttle being artificially limited to 40% up to 2500 RPM and then releases to 80%+ after that. Here are the tables I'm currently running. Any insight on how to fully unlock it would be much appreciated but I'm going to keep testing as well.

I'm wiping my PC today, reinstalling VF, OV, etc etc.
In the meantime, i'm interested in getting rid of the Rev Hang in MT b14 2.0 SFOB prem. I already have the AGM customization down in VF.
Does anyone have the specific areas that need updated in VF for the Rev Hang?

Also, if i read this right, we now have the ability to set the Cruise control at any speed? Gimme gimme

It is very likely that your Sys ID will change when you reformat. Just sayin'.
