I don't think I went over 100 either. But Im fairly certain the truck wouldn't allow it to try and go beyond what is capable. Another tip. Keep first second and third values close to the same if not the same across their ranges. Makes for smoother acceleration.

1st, 2nd and 3rd values such as these (highlighted) for all 6 maps?

So, I stepped away from the forums and OVTune product updates for a year or two and now I see there's a new product. I believe I have the original dongle kit (Tactrix w/ USB node), or maybe that's the flash kit? I don't know.

I'm relatively new to tuning, so not sure how much benefit I would gain from the VF system.

Should I bother upgrading? Will it still cost me $199 even if I trade in my dongle or flash kit?

If you have to OG kit, there’s an upgrade. If you have the dongle, its a free upgrade. If you have the dongleless, its $79

disregard the tactrix plug and cable and pull that little USB out of the plastic. If it's black or purple then that's your dongle. That'll get sent back and KEEP the tactrix and cable as you still need it to flash your truck. Directions to upgrade from dongle to VF is on OVtunings website

The entirety of that map, should be close to or have equal values as the entirety of the 2nd and 3rd gear maps.

All 3 maps should look the same or at least be close. Otherwise, 1st gear is... Waa... Second is, waaaaa, and so on. You want waa for both... Keep them similarly increased in values.

So what I'm understanding is the 1st gear, 2nd gear and 3rd gear maps should be exactly the same from 0 all the way to 100? Sorry if I'm misunderstanding, I'm not too savy with tuning yet.

    Thank you very much!

The USB piece is black, so that's the dongle. I'll go ahead and place the exchange order.

    Thanks for your help.

Not in the least. You're in for some goodness. A lot of it. OVT perfected those Alphas.

That's awesome to hear! and my wife just approved a roof rack from Martin Offroad. All I need now is a winch and some KO2s and I'm set!

Here’s what my 1st 2nd and 3rd maps look like. Similar for the most part but a few different values.

and I know it sounds simple and dumb to say but a few people here will attest to the fact that brain farts happen so I'll reiterate. Don't forget to put all your relevant info in with the dongle. On the box is not good enough. I wrote all my info on a small paper and wrapped the dongle in it

Name, address phone number, original order number if you have it. Anything that makes it easier for them to find you and verify that you were the original purchaser.
