vF Tuner for the 3.5L Tacoma

    Any way I can flash back to stock using the OVtune 1.3.3 utility?

    I need to reflash the vehicle to stock by tomorrow morning. I may be turning the keys over in a private sale. I can't get 1.3.0 or 1.3.1 to download the stock files?

    I don't have Vftuner, and I don't have time to download it and register it.

    I'm not sure if you can flash .vft files with OVTune 1.3.x, but if you can then download VF, it comes with the stock ECU files. Try to flash the stock tune from there. And no, you don't need to register the program prior to having the stock tune files.

    Thanks. I wasn’t able to use vft. Files with the OVtune programs.

    however, I noticed the flash manager for VFtuner can run Without using the VFTuner softer.
    So I was able to run Flash manager 1.3.2 and access the stock tune.


    Drove it around for last 20 minutes. Stock tune sucks.

    Just flashed @PapaRee m&w 93oct tune. First impressions r, wow what a difference over stock. Thanks guys. My first test drive was on wet pavement not raining but wet from night before and I spun tires till 3rd even had a chirp into 3rd. Great work so far! Is there a GL option for this tune? And does anyone feel between 1-2nd kinda like it falls in its face just a tad? Now this could be due to the tires spinning and the shifting. Gonna test drive later when it drys up a bit out side.

    don’t kno about snow. I live by the beach. I wouldn’t think so.

    Open a file in vF with the ECU ID that you want to unlock. There will be a few warning prompts about spending credits.

    The only way at the moment to get 2.0 files is with a Tune Pack. I am not sure how the 2.0 AT Final rollout will happen.
