You'll get base tunes that you can edit if you'd like.
Try @Mooseditty17's M+W if you want to have some fun! His tune is set up for 33" tires though, so tweak that parameter for your tire size and you're good to go.

    @OVTune
When was the most recent, and when can we expect an update? Looking for the TC patch and perhaps the Performance tunes. Just wondering what your schedule looks like.
    Thanks.

I have an 2017 TRD Sport DCSB 04b04
    It has a 6” lift ;35’s
Some accessories;compressor, receiver, a bunch of Rago mounts; hi-lift jack various LEDs
SB intake and a 3” MBRP cat back.

I’m looking for better throttle response off the line. When the light turns green, the truck falls flat on its face in stock mode, so any improvements would be great.

I only run 92/93 octane, so yesterday I flashed the Perf35THX file, and I’m in the learn mode. Is this the right tune for me? And how is the THX file different than just the Perf35” file.

I’ve also heard great reviews about the M&W 3.1 @Mooseditty17 tunes. I’m more interested in performance, but am also aware that old man winter is coming. Not sure is the M&W tune would break the ass loose on the ol’ steed.
Also, do I need to purchase additional credits to apply the M&W, or since it’s the same ECU, I’m good....?

I have purchased the tune pack, and am a little confused on what direction to go. Either way, thanks to all who are involved in the development @OVTune and constant grooming of the tune for the members.

TW doesn't allow very many file extensions to be uploaded, unfortunately.

    list is growing fast
All you need is to request 4 credits ($75) to unlock the new ECU.

also make sure you’re updated to the latest version of vFtuner.

I should have guessed. I was multi tasking so I didn’t get it

    :hattip:
BTW M+W 3.1 modded for 4.88’s and 32’s with AGM (I tweaked) is running hard and strong with great mpgs (depending on how you drive it) went a quarter tank up to the mountains and back yesterday (119 miles).

The tune AJ (Mooseditty17) made for me is a premium gas tune with 33" tires, X Power AGM battery . Alternator charged at 14.7 for a couple of minutes when I first started my truck after tuning. Charging has now settled to 14.3 - 14.4V Prior to the tune my alternator charged the battery at 13.2 - 13.3V
Tip in is just fine for me. Truck holds gears longer. Can't say anything about gas mileage because I only have about 50 miles on tune. I did pay him to do the tune for me. My truck is a 2018 - 04A61 ECU which is different than his.

I'm a Wisconsinite. That's a big reason I made a mild and wild. Because a wild and wild was just that. Difficult to manage in low traction situations. But the mild mode is still very peppy, just not so dangerous :D
And I'm on 33*11 with stock gears.

I'm glad you're enjoying it. Beware of the juice. It can lead to aggressive behavior.

So just to be clear, running this tune on 35s won’t be an issue, right?

Also, what’s your PayPal so I can drop a wee bit of Xmas joy.

I know we all 04B04 guys running this mild n wild tune for 33's, does it matter if we have a different size 33?. Like I am a 285/75/16 but I know some are 255/85/16 and some are on 18inch rims. Should I change the tire size to my exact radius, because mine is different then what's on the tune. Thanks.

Tire size is used to calculate how many RPMs your axle will actually turn. It would be a negligible difference. The width of the tire and wheel diameter have absolutely no effect.

A new version of our software is scheduled to release soon (likely before end of year)
updating to this version is mandatory if you want all the new features, updated tables, additional table information etc.
some other really cool features coming (not necessarily in this release but coming)

    1. Overhauled Datalogger - Many more PIDs
    2. File patching - EROM enhancements that can be added to your tune
    3. User-EROM - Custom (user defined) ability to expand and make tables any size you want up to 32x32 (limited to tables that can be expanded via code) so you can take your "VVT" map and lets say you want it to be bigger. Use EROM tool, Expand the map to whatever size you want, and adjust the axises.
    4. Access to vftuner forum training (live training)
    5. EROM-TCU (more info coming)

    free of course.

WOOT WOOT! My VFtuner package arrived!!

Since I set up all the software beforehand, its was basically plug and play. Updated my ECU to 04A71 and I have to say, I was worried that it was going to be a hassle, but it was a piece of cake. Going to email them to get the tune for my ECU ID and then, flash time...

When I try to connect to vehicle via techstream to change vehicle settings, a pop up appears and states that I must update since Ver. 14.20.019 isn't supported anymore and doesnt allow me to proceed any further unless I update. I just disconnected from the internet and used in offline mode, is there a way to bypass this update? Also, when using offline mode, another pop up appeared and stated you can only use offline mode for 28 times, then registration is required. Any ideas or advice?

Check out the ECU update thread in my signature to see how to reset the count. There's a few ways to do it.
