This person has no clue. There are a lot of maps and programming that @OVTune did that we don't have access to.

Is there a way to disable the CEL in vf tuner on an automatic trans. with catless exhaust?

I’ve seen the dump tube map for manual trans. But no catless map for automatic trans.

Ummmmm, does he not know that Matt actually wrote in his own section of code? Things that eliminates some tables from being called?

Just copy and paste won't do it. It probably won't hurt anything, but it's not the real deal.

Just goes to show how bad the stock tune is that folks are willing to shell out $200 bucks to a shady dude they've never heard of and haven't vetted to run a $35,000+ truck....

@jdmfreak1992 glad to hear you're getting set up with a kit. Grand scheme of things $200 is not that expensive of a lesson learned.

An option would be to get an obd app like obdfusion or something similar, then you could monitor afr, temps, etc.

Edit: I see you already got the kit. This is still a great tool to monitor things though. Enjoy the kit and learning all this stuff!

lol + stuff done you can't access + automatic access to new ECUs, + automatic access to patch version tunes on 1.30.. etc

The current version of vF Tuner has about 350+ accessible tables.
That's not every table in the ECU.

@OVTune Matt, I received an email from you about the 4runner TP but it was the wrong files from zendesk 22795. It was sent Feb 15, sorry to bother. I was very happy because you said: Let me send you the right one :hattip:

    Hi all,

Sorry if this seems like a dumb question. I bought VF tuner bundle and the tune pack. I'm trying to follow the new instructions for install, I get to where it prompts us to upload a calibration file, but all I see is stock files.

How do I see the tunes I paid for?

When I started doing all this, I was working from the older instructions, I have installed the new VF turner 1.2.9.6

Any and all help would be appreciated, thanks guys.

    Well, you're on 04B33. That's good.

Now, you just need to send a message to @OVTune that you want the 04B33 Tune Pack.

No worries. It was always that way to get Tune Packs. Although, it seems that there are a few sets of instructions out there.

so every time the program gets a update do we need to reflash our tune?

No! vF Version updates are about bringing new functionality, features, or corrections to the editing software. It doesn't affect your flashed tune in the least.
