Same here, if I drive 60. But if you encounter 3 to 5 miles climb at 70 and above, you will find the dead pedal and gonna get owned by 4 banger.
But they fade away pretty quickly once you downshift to 4th

I might have to reload premium kruiser 4.0 again. after all the positive reports. I actually liked 3.6 better, seemed like it had better throttle response/reaction down low, and mid rpm/speeds. so, I reloaded 3.6, and have been on that for a few hundred miles.

hoping the new tables, options, and updates for our super users gives us yet another break through, in allowing this truck to perform like we would like it to. Big thank you to @PapaRee for helping me directly, always appreciated. also a big thank you, to the other super users, and their sharing of ideas, tunes, reports etc... to help the rest of us, who are not comfortable enough to change tunes, tables, flashes, while we learn, know our role, and stay in our own lane.

Boys and girls... I went to the Dyno today just to test out @PapaRee 's KD Performance Tune on the rollers... just to see what a loaded down truck could do, we ran 3 pulls and yes the graphs are only top end numbers, but it was very difficult to get a baseline test with the stock ECU flash because all it wanted to do was shift up. So we decided to pin Stock vs. OVTune 2.0 vs. KD Performance to see what the top end numbers were. Just to show you some real world numbers, with a real world truck. I wish we could have had some better low end numbers to show, but anyone who drives this PROVEN and TESTED tune knows that Paparee has done some excellent work.

We would imagine that a STOCK truck would have better performance numbers due to the rotating mass of the tires are a lot less... but I wanted to test this the way it was for the average geared Taco.

EDIT: The truck had 91 octane, but the tunes we tested were the 87 octane tunes.

Let us know if we can help! @PapaRee @TWTaco @trdquoc

awesome! We have almost identical setups (except 32’s and softopper) and this is good news. His premium Kruiser 4.0 with the slightly less tip-in is cherry and a pleasure to drive. I could tell the difference just in the tune coming from all the tunes since 2017. Nice work

btw, this chart is going to be impossible for color blind dudes to read. They could have chosen an orange or green besides all blues and reds...oh well

Hells yeah. Check out that 5500rpm delta though!

I have my pull rescheduled to next week. I’ll find the low RPM figures. My truck is stock except for my CAI and catback. It will be nice to see all of the differences. I’m still speculating ~15-20hp/tq difference.

Let us know! We need to figure out how to test the low end numbers. The damn stock tune just wanted to keep shifting... surprisingly because all it wants to do normally is gear hunt! hahaah

@OVTune ... @PapaRee is the wizard behind the KD Performance Tune. Please give him kudos. Also kudos to you too for allowing the software to be so flexible to everyone's tastes and flavors!

EDIT: Also kudos to @TWTaco for extensive testing!
