    you just send zendesk an email and tell them you were a dongle owner who upgraded to vf tuner.

    i sent my vf order ID to them and about 2 days later i had the tune pack.

    if you havent already, you need to go to the webpage and you "buy" the vftuner package under the "free upgrade dongle" deal.

    then you will get your order ID.

    and btw, ever since i saw your name on here i have waited for the moment to use the multipass thing. Love that movie. Is it your real name?

    YAY MY REG KEY CAME!!!!! Back in business.

    submitted Monday, got it today. Quick turn around

    BTW the service advisor at toyota didnt stall my truck. But before he pulled it into the shop, i saw him stop, back up, go forward, stop, go forwards some more. He had this puzzled look on his face.

    AND the damn tech moved my seat....i HATE when they move my seat.

    @tonered, with your current PTTT table, do you have a hesitation/slow response in the initial push of your pedal?

    especially around 2000 rpms?

    EDIT: only when gunning it, not during normal accel

    Not that I have found. I have tried to trick it up, and it has done everything right so far.

    Yes. That is the only map that I have not touched yet. I was worried about mixing in too many changes.

    I'm going to get some logs hopefully tomorrow. Saturday at the latest.

    im intersted in seeing them. i got my throttle back now, can actually take off. Everything felt great but i had that dead feeling down low if i punched into the throttle. i did not have that before.

    i did not try turning off TCS though.

    I did edit my PTTTG1 table....a lot. its close to previous values, just linear like throttle

    I had a dead pedal on a test tune. It was not a good feeling.

    I like the idea of making the maps linear. With everything just so right now, I want to rack up some miles to see how it goes.

    I just made a quick run out to pick up some parts and specifically tested this a few times. Stabbing to WOT in 2nd and 3rd at 2k a couple times, 2,250, and 2,500. Each time, it was immediate.

    Well.. thanks to @92ehatch and @tonered , I believe I have a file that is quite good for my needs (for now lol).

    'hatch's linear Acceleration Throttle Request to Airload Map;
    Tony's smoothed Airload maps (with some tweaking of my own on the bottom end of the Airload Control maps);
    SFOB Premium unaltered PTTT map;
    SFOB Premium unaltered PTTTG1 map;
    1st gear 2H/4H/reverse throttle limit set to 100; and
    Torque Calculated Base during Full Throttle map with value raised from 4000 to 5000.

    It's quite smooth with no harsh lurches right up through the rev range when deep into the throttle.
    Engine braking is back;
    Take off from idle in 1st gear is strong with no dead fish feel. No nosing over or falling on it's face.
    There's still some on/off/light throttle jerkiness at times, but it's not harsh at all.
    Cruising at 30-35mph in 6th on back roads is no problem at all. 5th will pull quite well at that speed lol.

    I've only got about 35km on the file tonight, so we'll see how she settles in.

    Once you start playing with vF tune you'll pick up on it pretty quick.

    There's a shit ton of information in these threads on modifying everything the guys are talking about.

    Where's hatch's Acceleration to airload map? So many floating around that it's hard to keep up between all the airload and accel airload and PTTT maps lol

    That is great to hear!

    I can only imagine it being great with more time.

    Hahaha! I love that we can do 5th and 6th at 30 or 35. I never expect brisk acceleration, but it pulls hills well and every new tune since 1.05 FOB just does it better.

    Please post up those ALC maps.

    I believe that it is just CTRL + I over the entire map. No other value changes.

    I created a new thread for that as it would be a great editing introduction for 3D and 4D maps.
