Been kayak fishing since i was 14.

I have 4 now, my original I've had since a teen, a 12 ft field and stream

My wife got me the pescador pilot for my birthday and i just picked up the native propel last week for a steal.

We are in a month long tourney and skunked the first weekend, didn't get to fish due to hurricane delta last week. With kids and Halloween we are looking at this weekend being a fishing weekend.

First time out with the native, wife's first pedal trip.

    She's gonna a love it.

I'm in a 10ft sit in. Been wanting one for ages and finally pulled the trigger last year. I definitely squandered this summer. Motivation is low all around.

    Good luck!

If you are fishing out of it a pedal is well with it.

I use my sit in 14 foot for the river. Light weight, tracks well with current.

Not so good in the back of the Tacoma

Oh, I know it. My friend is chilling and reeling easily while I'm fight for position and my pole. Although, I like the cozy stability of the sit in. The only option is for (n + 1). :D

But then, I want a longer sit in with bulkheads. Hahaha!

@tonered on a whim, I'm loading your linear throttle map to try out, want to see what you've accomplished there out of curiosity. I added in @MOC221_ v4 ALC, we'll see what happens there.

@tonered I've decided that I much prefer your linear tune, with Frank's v4 ALC added in.

The difference between your tune and my v6 feels like a smoothed 1.05 map of some sort (my THRv6) vs an improved 2.0 map (yours) that provides power, smooth predictable drivability, and no power in "stages", along with nice tip-in and throttle response.

I'll admit, I actually had my doubts about your map because the idea of it being super linear had me thinking it'd feel great while at speed, but potentially neutered at low speed, especially where tip-in and low rpm response are concerned. I've been proven wrong and I love it.

I'm still running @tonered throttle as well and my previous gear 1.

Waiting for the new throttle controls Matt said were in the next update before changing anything else.

FWIW i managed to pull a grade in 6th yesterday that i normally have to downshift to 4th to make.

Good stuff! I'm glad that you like it.

No negatives showing up here. I am still uncertain about what the logs and the OBD are showing, but driveability is right on for me.

Yeah it's spectacular really. Well done.

I'm filing away my THRv6 as yet another thicc-boi map, although I expect that yours would do well for trucks like that with some minor adjustments

Apologies if this has been addressed, but are these tweaks the ones from the first post?

Is this the V4 edit from @MOC221_ https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/ovt-vf-map-edit-air-load-control-alc.685741/#post-24192570

The old jokes are the best jokes.

The fam never agrees, but it at least gives me a laugh.

    She's a keeper!

What I know is that my fam can eye roll hard enough to do self-assessed brain scans. They just don't need to do it that often.

I've been waiting to see if there was a legitimate reason to switch to the new platform, and y'all have me convinced I should take a stab at it. But, now I can't find where previous OVT customers can get the discount, can someone point me in the right direction?

Edit: I don't have the dongle, just the flash kit.
