    Nice writeup..

The jerkiness, surging, and off/on throttle bump are annoying me right now to say the least..

The truck has good power including the low end, but man it's HARD to drive it smoothly lol.

I still get shitty blips at times too.

Engine braking is normal with my current config.

I'm kinda waiting out until the new M/T throttle maps and VVT patch drops in vF before I go fucking with it again.

The top map was absolutely wonderful with acceleration, smooth, you could actually feel and hear the engine in a different way than before.

BUT.....It had the worst rev hang, every time, even in third gear. It would actually raise the rpms prior to dropping.

So i modified it and made the bottom. Will test tomorrow.

There is a new version of vF, but I am not seeing any goodies like DFCO, Rev Hang, or the CC setting fix? Lemme know if I am wrong.

I did start working on my Version 8 tune with more edits to Cold Start idle, ALC V4, PTTT V3.

I want the new hawtness before I flash this though.

I just started following the MT thread. I've been working on my 2019 auto, but I'm in the process of unlocking some credits to tune my buddies truck. I haven't seen any files shared for that ECU id however. I'm looking for any files for 04a71. He wants it to run off 87 octane, but I can change the tire size, gearing etc. I'm basically looking for a base tune to start from besides stock. If anyone has 04a70 files, I might just use those. I haven't updated the tsb on his truck yet.

    I downloaded it.

There were 2 new injection maps but I'm not sure what they is.

Appear to be for injection timing in relation to crank position. Outside of my league.

Although i did notice a big dip in the low map right in the problem rpm ranges (the dip in torque range)

    Still not touching.

Been trying to "quiet" or soften the tunes up. I don't like that supper touchy throttle. I feel like I only need to use 1/4 throttle and the the truck just rockets.
What maps would soften the throttle and smooth out the power delivery?

Yes, I got them sorted. I simply pasted the vales based on the tab at the bottom vs what was written at the top and did not get any error.

Well, that felt great! Much better (smoother) throttle. Power in gears felt good all around. Only 10 miles on so far (mixed highway and city stop and go)
Going to be filling up later today and will continue to monitor, but as of now, I might be on this file for some time. Thank you @tonered for all your help!

    You're welcome!

I don't know exactly why, but this tune is my favorite so far. Great @OVTune goodness on the bottom and all this teamwork over the top.

It took me a while to adapt to the linear throttle. I have been experimenting in the upper gears and can feel additional and consistent torque coming on all the way through the motion.

@tonered - can your airflow numbers apply effectively to the stock tune well? if so, where can i find your most current spreadsheet? sorry to ask, but would like to make sure I use the right data. have tried to apply a few air tweaks in the tunes i posted, but have had limited success and am thinking that maybe i applied tweaks to stock which needed to be applied to a different published tune instead???? thanks in advance (for all you do)!!!

    You're welcome!

I don't see why not. Most of the stuff that we are doing here was not altered in the OV Tunes also. It was stuff that Mat found recently.

My V3 spreadsheet is attached to the 1st Post of the ALC thread. That thread is linked in the 1st Post of this thread. Note that @MOC221_ has V4 Control Airflow maps based on mine. I have a tune edit with that but am waiting on the next vF version that is supposed to have some more MT goodness in it.
