Ok so I know I can do the carrier drop or the shims.

My question is which is better and why? Does it matter?

Is a axle shim better then carrier drop or vice versa? I want to do it the right way and I didnt find anything on which is the "better" way to go....

    Thanks

shims are better because they don't mess up the drive line angle from the transfer case to the carrier bearing.

It was a 3" so, that should work out well. Does it come with instructions?
