Some do some don't. I definitely think a diff drop would help in your case among checking other things...

Is that a 5100? Why use a spacer at all? Just set the perch at the 2.5" lift setting.

You cannot go beyond 3" total or you will cause damage. Based on what I see in the pic, you don't have the billie set at the 0" lift setting.

ya based off your picture, it looks like the 5100's are set up at the middle or even top perch on the strut, plus you have a 3in spacer? not a good combo you'll never get a good alignment, ditch those spacers and just run bilsteins until you can invest in a 3inch coil and do it the right way

im pretty sure the front shocks are not 5100's, i just looked at them and couldn't find 5100 anywhere

im pretty positive they are the factory TRD shocks which im assuming are not 5100's.... correct?

here is some pics of the top (another reason for me to hurry and get this fixed besides my cv's is the ball joint in these pics..... again bad angles)

Look closely at the shocks again. Do you see RCD in red? Seems like I am seeing the edge of the red D in one of the pics. Bilstein makes the 5100s for Race Car Development (RCD) who markets them. What is the part number on the shocks? They are refferred to on this site as 5100s but these are the same.

The spring perch is adjustable to three levels. From the pics I can't tell if you are on the highest or the middle setting. Definitely not the lowest setting, the lowest setting is exposed below the perch in your pics.

Assuming its only at middle + a 3" lift spacer, you are running at ~4.25".

THANKS, that was the problem the shocks were on the top spring perch plus the spacer. i didn't realize they were the adjustable 5100's this truck had one owner prior to me and the shocks were already on it

i took it back to shop today and they are gonna lower it back down just hope it still has a decent amount of lift when they're done, because the mechanic told me that it was already on the top perch when we brought it in, so apparently it already had some lift on the front when i bought the truck
