I'm having this same exact issue... I got Ray10s with Toyo At3's and I get the intermittent vibration over 65 mph. I've gone to discount tire at least 5 times and they say the tires balance just fine, I have the 10k service coming up this weekend. I'll ask the dealer to take a look at the rotors see if that fixes my issue, fingers crossed.

Every set I've had where out of round. I would normally get balance issues after 20k miles. never from day one.

    Toyo's are better tires.

They did. They also tried what they called dynamic balancing and still getting vibrations.

No lift, the guys at discount checked the wheels multiple times trust me. They would've told me if the wheels were out of round or something. Only thing is that the tires are 265/75/r16

Road force balancing is a gimmick and does nothing. Discount on the other hand tends to be better than most shops since tire are all they do.

I can tell you but it happens. I've had a set of tires that balanced well on the tire balancing machines but shook at various speeds. Its very possible to get a bad set of new tires. Mine were diagnosed at a buddies shop using his dynamic balancing machine that uses a strobe where the tires are balanced while still on the truck.

Have you actually looked at each wheel, and noted how much weight is applied to balance the wheel and tire? It's very difficult to accept the word of a service writer these days. I know because I was one. I also mounted and balanced thousands of tire/wheel combo's over a few decades.
Everyone needs a tire guy. I have one myself, even tho I have retired, I still want to watch my guy balance and mount my shit. That means walking into the shop (most insurance comp will not allow this) and watching the work. I will call out my guy if I see something out of the norm and I phuck with him constantly, LOL.
Most of my experience was with Cooper and Firestone. Both great companies. Goodgodyear, BFGoodluck, Toyoyo, Yokajoke, and the others have issues, they all do. Your tire guy will tell you what's the trend in good manufacturing. US still leads the way in tire manufacturing believe it or not. Goodgodyear for instance has about 11 plants in the US. Michelin owns BF Goodluck so place of manufacture means nothing to me.
I recommend finding a small shop the you can trust, get to know the old guy if there is one, and always carry a $10 bill when you walk in. You'll get good advice and really great service because a tenner goes a long way....LOL

Thank you, I'm currently looking at small tire shops around my area. Hope I can find a good one that can get the issue resolved

I'm considering the same size. Which tires do you run?

Solid advice as always shipmate! I have always been amazed at what a little green in the tire guys hand will do. Not sure if it is the green or the fact that you are showing interest in their work, but does wonders.

Phich, I have the same issue with my truck shaking around 75-83mph. No steering wheel shake but the seats and cab shake. I’ve done the wheels and tires swap many times as well and it still does it. How did flipping the rotors solve the issue if you getting vibes at highway cruising speeds? Just doesn’t make sense how the rotors solved the issue if you were having these issues with cruising speeds and not pushing the brake in.

Honestly I couldn't tell you. I was reaching for anything that might fix it and that did. It wasn't a shake that made it undriveable, and was only in the steering wheel, but it was annoying. Seats and cab shake I have not experienced...

I had what @Phich had. Totally doesn't make sense. Every mechanic will say "no way". And, I'm a tech. Had our machine shop do a really nice machine job on my rotors. The guy actually said, "that was weird, they were off in strange ways". Anyways, turned my rotors, installed the same pads and no vibrations. I've been a tech for going on 30yrs. Doesn't make any sense but it worked. Plus, I'm the original owner and the only person ever to remove and re-install my wheels.

No kidding, but who would have thought a tripple whopper would run you $10? Prices are getting crazy!

Normally, but not always vibration in the steering wheel is a front issue, and vibration in your seat is a rear issue. There are no less than 7,391 different diag's for this problem on this forum..lol. Drivability diag's use to pay really well at some dealershits but nobody takes the time anymore. I've had tech's hanging on the outside of a KIA van trying to locate a noise in a door/"A" pillar area, @ 45mph. (dangerous) lol.
Drive shaft? Wheel bearing? in the rear.

Went to the dealer for my 10k service and let them know about the vibration I'm having. They said my tire balance was not done correctly by discount so they road force balanced the tires. On my way home from the dealer I could still feel vibrations, not as bad but is there. I noticed my truck pulling to the right so it could also be an alignment issue, the dealer did not say anything about it when they drove it. I'll follow up with the dealer and see what they say, or I'll just have a 3rd party shop do the alignment and hopefully that fixes my issue. The dealer said the rotors were fine.
