Ok, Heres the deal. Just had new Bridgestone Duelers 265/65R-17 put on the truck. The same tires that were originally on it when I drove it off the lot. When I drive at Highway speeds the steering wheel would vibrate. Called firestone and took it back for a second balance try. No luck, still a vibration. I then took it somewhere else and had it road forced balanced. It was alot smoother and the wheel does not shake but there is still sort of a vibration in the truck at highway speeds. Is anyone else having these same vibration problems?

Had a similar issue after rotate and balance with my Firestone Destination A/T's. Had them rebalanced at a shop with a road force balancer and that took care of it. They said the rear tires were out of balance, but only by a little bit.

I have the exact same problems ever since I got M/T tires. I have had it balanced 3 times & I still get vibrations.

I considered the fact that my front wheel bearings were going bad, but this problem only happened after the new tires were installed.

Yes, the alignment was done when the tires were installed and is dead on.

figured the whole thing out. After having the tires balanced three times I took it to the dealer where I bought the truck. They explained to me that most after market places dont have the adapter that must be used on the balancer machine for all toyota 5 and 6 lug wheels. Without this adapter the wheel wont fit on the balancer properly causing inaccurate wheel balacing. I posted a thread called ( a word of caution when replacing tires) after I had it fixed to let every one know of the issue. I love my truck and it has always had a good ride, but after the tires were installed I something was just not right. Now its back to normal.

Un rotate the tires. Trust me this has fixed mine several times. Do the X rotation and try it.

I wish that was the fix for mine ..I"m asst manager at a tire shop and we know and also have that adapter but still hasn't help..What I can't figure is I have Toyota customers that have bought tires from me with no ride problems..I have not yet ck the alignment..Tires are wearing very good and alignments don't usually cause a Vibration..

Thanks for that link..It maybe the Alignment because one thing also about this trk is it does have sort of a wondering feel in the steering..Mostly at higher speeds around 60mph..Like maybe a positive camber feel..Alignment will be the next thing i'll try.
