Has anyone removed the black vinyl in between the front and rear windows?

I'm curious what it would look like.

Ford seems to have it and Chevy does not. Haven't paid attention to Dodge or Nissan.

My truck is white but any color pics would be greatly appreciated.

I've seen pictures on here. If you're going to do it, don't procrastinate otherwise it could be a little different in color. Looks a lot like the 2nd gens when removed.

I just want to see a some pics on a Gen3 so I can make a decision.

I think it will look good and kind of be a mindfuck for taco people.

    I only have 20k miles.

I removed the vinyl just a few days after getting the truck. It’s the best look IMO

I removed mine because it looked like a cross-eyed hobo installed it at the factory. Misalignment drove me crazy.

Yep and a hair dryer or summer / sun's heat to help... Little Goof Off for any remaining adhesive.

I have a black truck so I am no help but never really thought about others removing the vinyl. Looks much better.

I like how it looks removed, but if had a shit ton of branch scraps on that exact spot on plenty of other trucks including toyotas. Makes me nervous to remove that extra protection

I did not realize how nice the trucks look without the decals. Do we have to remove the weather-stripping around the windows?

Looks much better with the vinyl than without in my opinion, but to each his own.

I think it depends on the color of the truck. I was almost going to remove mine, but on super white with tinted windows, it has a nice flow. On most of the metallic colors, I like the look of the truck with it removed.

Yeah, without the vinyl, the cab looks just like a Gen 2.
