I've got a question, how in the hell did you get all that free stuff?

How did you get picked for the sponsor for ALL those top name companies?

I wish i could have gone to SEMA.

 

Quite simply, it's a lot of preparation. Think of it as a job interview for all of the companies that you want support from. I proposed something in a professional manner and presented the key valuable incentives for their investment. Many companies liked my idea and jumped on board, some did not. But that's all part of the game, expect to have a lot of doors slammed in your face, but the important thing is to make sure you take it all in stride and not burn bridges.
What I think helped the most is that I have been in involved in the aftermarket performance industry professionally for 11 years now. So over a decade of networking worked in my favor, but even with that it's still quite a challenge as off road was not my forte. I was making a lot of cold calls to companies I had no relationships to begin with.

If you're an automotive enthusiast on any level, whether it be performance or off-road, make it a point to get to SEMA at least once. It's a great experience.

For sure, Red Rock is pretty nice. I think there is only 1 trail out there but I could be wrong.

 

I would like to get a set of the adapters that you used to mount the ARB rack. What shop made them for you?
