    no idea why they'd be in with the music, maybe to hide it, that's a place not a lot of people would look at to search for viruses

    no luck.... plus she had no previous restore points...

    the virus does not allow her to use the browser... automatically redirects to crap site

    can't get malwarebytes

    You mean you can't download Malwarebytes or you can't get it to run? The free version will do just fine.

    edit: download MWB installer onto a flash drive from your computer. Then install it on her's and do what I stated to you earlier. Be sure to do an update first. Make sure to do a scan on your flash drive too after you do it on the laptop.
