Quick question for anyone who has the V3 Triton switchbacks, I just installed them with the VLR-6 resistors. They work as advertised but within 1 minute of use in DRL mode the resistors are scorching hot? If the resistors are supposed to correct hyperflash why would they get that hot without the turn signals activated? Is this normal?? Thanks!

Update-I talked to the company, the resistors will run that hot all the time. On a side note one of the Tritons stopped working after a day so I decided to return them. I just did the DRL disable so I don't ruin my new retrofits.

i've always hated using resistors. Rather just put in an electronic flasher and be done with it.
