Vled V3 Triton

Been wanting to find a good led bulb that was really bright for some time now. A friend of mine got these for his truck and told me about them. My lens was starting to melt from the DRL's, so I disable them a while back. Got them in the mail today and installed them. Very impressed. They are so bright! I didn't take any pictures since is hard to capture the light output.

I had the same problem with mine after I installed the OEM DTRL kit and I also got rid of it cause of some melting. That kit you got looks really good and you can tell they are really bright!! Looks like they cost a bit of money but good LED's will cost you a pretty penny but its worth it.

 

Humm, i wonder if i should do the same when i do my retrofit. but i was thinking to do the swithching color one's. white as drl's and amber as turn signal.

 

I installed the V3's DTRL 5K Switchback lights..they are almost bright enough to run as headlights alone..I also installed the 5K parking lights to run at the same time..looks killer...DTRL's will reduce 50% output if spliced into the Headlight harness when your headlights are on..Only bad side is that the LED's make the OEM headlights look yellow and weak....I'm currently on the build list for a pair of these..
