    That rod has been around for a bit, he's usually out here at the Bug-In in Vegas. Alot of sweet volksrods out there but I'm a big fan of the Hoodride style. Rusted, low and slow. Pisses off the aircooled resto purists pretty good :)

    That's cool, too bad they cut up a split window to do it though. Not too many cars have a blind spot created by the rear tires.

    The hot-rod/rat rod VW style has been around a while, surfaced in a few magazines a few years ago. Flip your front beam to throw your front wheels out a few extra inches and remove the fenders (and maybe the rear deck lid) and you have a start.

    I like the 'hoodride' / rat-rod / what ever you call it as well.
    To BKeith747: the pimp'd out Munster Mobile motor is in the back...It's a VW!!!
