You don't have to install the spacers. With Daks in the back and no spacer, you won't be bro-ed. As far as UCAs go, there are threads on here that argue for and against ICONs and LRs.

    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/suspension/195766-uca-question.html#post4276411

For me, I liked the adjustability, booted balljoint, and price.

x2 on OZ's point about the center pins. Put a set of Daks on my buddy's 2010 DCSB truck and used the axle shims. No vibe complaints so far.

I put an OME lift and AAL on my truck shortly after I bought it and I was pretty disappointed with how it drove (wandering at highway speeds and bumpsteer)...to the point I considered ditching the lift. I was also one of those guys that said, "My truck aligned fine with stock UCAs." Eventually, someone called my bluff and I decided to have another shop check my alignment. Well, it turned out the number from the first shop were bogus and I barely had a 1* of caster. I ordered LR UCAs that day. After I put them on, I got 3* caster and the truck drives as good as it did the day I bought it. I have absolutely no regrets about the lift or the UCAs.

#3 - I just did mine this weekend. It was a lot easier to put the LR UCAs onat the same time as the rest of the front. I also added 1/2 inch top plate spacers (on 885s). I think it looks really good – still need new tires though.

I also put the center pin collars on the Dakars – didn’t need to shim, but it was easy to do, just in case.

Well its in the shopping cart. Im going to get the OME (885X) with the spacers and Dakars. The sales rep told me that the spacers are so small that it will not effect ride or cause any problems and give me 3"+/-. I was also told that with the spacers and dakars I would have close to a factoy rake just with a 3" +/-lift.

Just need to check and see if i should get the below listed items:

5MM trim packer (Not sure if its needed but I keep reading about it):
Zinc Shims (Not sure if i should get these or the other ones):
    Steel shims:
Lengtheners (lookes like a good thing to have from reading): http://www.autoandtrucksprings.com/products/Center_Bolt_Head_Lengthener_2_Pcs-1662-0.html

Center pins (If I go with the Zimc shims do i need these):

That OME kit comes with the trim packer/spacer (listed towards the bottom of the kit description). You need the centerpin collars and zinc shims. The centerpin on the Daks will work with the collars you buy.

Didn't do enough research to say because they were out of my price range.
You would be way ass high with 2 1/2" lift up front and 3+" lift in the rear adding to the stock rake without the 1/4" spacers up front.

Do you mean 1/4" spacers that give 1/2" lift or 1/2" spacers that give 1" lift?

The trim packer is to correct Taco lean.
Skip the diff drop a wast of time and money and can cause problems.

I say get the Dakars. For the front, dont know why anyone has'nt recommended Adjustable Coil overs for the front. A little more money but worth it. You can adjust them for the stance you want. I went with Icons and love them. Rides better than new imo on and off road. If your installing yourself, all the $ you save can go for a better product. My 2 cents

The only thing I installed that came with my kit was the carrier bearing drop. I have no vibrations whatsoever. I didnt buy the rock guards. My diff drop is still in the box. You need the trim packer to account for the taco lean. I wasn't going to spend money on shims and other parts till I knew if I needed them. I think you will be really happy with the OME kit with the dakars.

If you crank any adjustable coilover to 3" it's going to ride rough. Your running the coilover at it's max setting.

Spacers give you twice the thickness of the spacer in lift so
1/4" spacer increases lift by 1/2" and
1/2" spacer increases lift by 1"
