It's just something that happens when lifts are put on. @Thesandaddict I believe had a issue with his on his 2nd gen and there have been many 3rd gens the same way when simple recalibration does not work.

Hate to buy one just for this one time. If you know of anyone around the north ga area that would be greatly appreciated.

Post up in your local threads in the regional section. Maybe you got a neighbor that has it.

Looks like you did.... maybe look for the meet up threads or the BS threads and ask the locals that are active in those threads... not everyone sees new threads.

And I guess I’m super confused here but since I’ve owned this truck I have tried every alignment shop known to man within a 100 miles of my house. Shouldn’t the steering rack and pinion and steering angle be something that’s done during an alignment. Or would that be someone else’s problem. I’ve owned the truck for 3 months now and have had 5 alignments done on it. Toyota said there was no need for an alignment today cause it was tracking good and the little 20 year old mechanic said everything was in spec. Are Toyota’s that picky about everything.

Well I haven’t had the tie rods moved that much. At least I don’t think so. I’ve never had this much problems out of anything. Toyota said if I would leave it there for the week they could probably figure it out. Lol. I just don’t understand why and how it’s so bad outta wack. It’s like every time I take it somewhere for this issue it gets worse.

It started out only doing it around right hand curves. Then I manually started shutting it off which stopped it but didn’t fix it. Took it to another shop and it started doing it even with the manual shutoff. Took it to Toyota and it started doing it with it manually shut off but now it does it to the left and right.

So I go out this morning and I have decided I’m going to do a vsc kill switch mod and the ywm. On the front of my drivers side kick panel I find this. And have no clue what it is. 765C3D49-16E5-426C-A0E3-42CA5498215A.jpg3201F524-BB78-4A6E-A1EB-810E73A9F02A.jpg

Anyone have any thoughts on this. The button doesn’t seem to turn anything on or off but it’s definitely wired to something

    Well Toyota called me today.

The service manager said that he didn’t feel good about sending me home with no fix for the problem. He wanted me to leave it for the week so they could dig into it. I told him I would love to do that but that I would owe them more than I owe the bank for the truck. Lol

He called back and said not to worry about the money. They are gonna give me a free rental truck for the week and not charge me for diagnosing my truck and that it was up to me after they figured out what was wrong to have it fixed by them, by someone else or by me.

So I kinda wanna give a shout out to Toyota of Cleveland’s service manager. The truck currently has 127k miles which is way out of warranty range and it’s 9 years old.

I think that some awesome service. Taking it back to them Saturday.

No. Dealership is about an hour and a half from me and been busy as hell with work. Done the vsc kill switch mod and is working great for now. So that’s as far as I’ve been with it.
