Is there a way to dissable all the stupid "traction control" stuff

Can you do anything to kill the traction control at any speed and still use the auto slip? Second question is can you do anything to turn the slip on while in 4x4

I get the whole button push thing but I'm looking for a fix until I put a locker on

If you want you can also unplug one of the wheel sensors. It will turn on the ABS and VSC lights on your dash and disable all the traction control. This way you can try it out and see if it's what you want, and it's easily reversible if you don't like it. If your satisfied then go ahead and do the proper install as shown above.

Once you plug back in the sensor you have to shut off the ignition, start it back up and drive for a few miles before the ABS and VSC lights go out.

I do a lot of ice fishing and this mod makes it easier to get through some heavy snow, you can spin your tires like crazy!

True, but that's the best option IMO. I guess I should've been more detailed with my reply.

 

It's also not gonna let you switch to four wheel drive, if you have it.

If you disconnect a wheels sensor, you will have a Christmas tree of light on your dash as well.

Not true, this is how I did mine back in 2011 when I bought my truck. I just put a switch in line with one of the wires on the passenger side wheel sensor and it's worked fine for me when I need it, only the ABS and VSC come on.
